I remember many years ago when I spent hours of time trying to figure out how to generate my own “Yellow Letter.” I was sending direct mail to a pre-foreclosure list trying to generate leads for short sales, and I heard that this particular “Yellow letter” works well. It was frustrating trying to figure it out on my own. Do I hand write each of these letters one at a time? What, are you kidding? That’s crazy! Do I go find a yellow tablet and somehow tear out all the pages and run it through the copier one at a time? Again, sounds a little crazy. The “Yellow Letter” is not necessarily yellow. Sure, it can be, and maybe it’s a good idea in your area. Mine isn’t yellow (it’s white) and it generates me a load of leads. By the way, I’ve used this letter for both loan mods and short sales. It works well for both in my area. Give it a try in yours and see what you think.

I am sad to see so many short sale investors not using the HUD-1 to maximize their profits. It is so easy to increase (in some cases double) your paycheck from your double / simultaneous closing by appropriately using the strategies as I show them in this video.

Yes, I admit it, I still have a job. Why on earth would I continue to work a job when my short sale business is doing so well? Why would I continue to work when my life as an investor literally means financial freedom? Good question!!! Hopefully the video below will answer that question.

You see, the truth is that this is not a job to me, it’s a hobby. I fly around the planet refueling our nation’s war assets, and it’s a dang good time. In addition, I feel good about continuing to contribute to the defense of our nation. There are a great group of people who are helping keep this nation free, and I enjoy doing my part… plus, did I mention that it’s fun.

Speaking of which, next weekend we’re scheduled to go to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands for the weekend. Have I mentioned that I love this job?

So yes, I still have a job, but I prefer to call it a hobby.
