Here’s a great video (less tha 2 mins) that outlines why the economy is in the current state of crisis. It does a great job of simply breaking down how the housing markets and loan markets were backed by huge wall street firms that didn’t do what they were supposed to. As a matter of fact, they only did a fraction of what they were supposed to do because they failed to keep enough money in reserves.

I believe the economy will recover, but it will take the effort of everyone to do so. There honestly could NOT be a better time to be a Real Estate Investor, especially in the pre-foreclosure markets! I’m not concerned about riding out whatever storm we have to push through, because people will ALWAYS need a place to live. If you can supply that, you will be golden!
